Warranty & Claims Process

JetAir Technologies maintains the highest quality commitment in manufacturing industrial high-speed
centrifugal blowers.

Warranty Policy

Industrial Blower Systems
A JetAir Industrial Blower System is defined as a JetAir supplied and configured Blower assembly (motor, impeller, volute) operated by a JetAir supplied and configured AC Drive (i.e., variable frequency drive or inverter).

New JetAir Technologies Blowers and AC Drives are warranted for one full year from the date placed in service and limited to 13 months from the date of shipment.

Reconditioned Blowers are warranted for 6 months from the date placed in service and limited to 9
months from the date of shipment.

Our warranty covers workmanship and material defects to the original purchaser only, or in the case of an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), that OEM's original purchaser. Should the blower fail, JetAir will examine the failure. If failure is determined by JetAir to be related to workmanship or material defect, JetAir will at its option repair or replace the blower.

Parts and Accessories
Non-Blower System parts and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months from date of shipment for workmanship and material defect, to the original purchaser only. If failure is determined by JetAir Technologies to be related to workmanship or material defect, JetAir Technologies will at its option repair or replace the part.

Customer Responsibilities
JetAir Industrial Blower Systems consist of precision balanced high speed rotating machinery and require clean filtered air at ambient temperature to minimize particles and liquids from adhering to intake components and polluting the drive end motor bearing. It is the customer’s responsibility to routinely clean and/or change filters depending on the operating environment. Failure to do so may result in a concomitant reduction in blower life and voiding of the warranty. Please contact a JetAir sales engineer to discuss the blower operating environment and prescribed filter maintenance program that maximizes blower life while maintaining the full benefits of the warranty.

 

Claim Process
If your system has failed and you believe the failure is covered by your warranty.

  • Contact the JetAir Service Department to report the failure at 805-654-7000 (USA) or
    support@jetairtech.com to receive “Warranty Claim Information Form.”
  • Complete “Warranty Claim Information Form” by answering form questions and return to JetAir by facsimile 805-654-7064 or support@jetairtech.com.
  • JetAir will evaluate claim, if determined valid, JetAir will email or fax a “Return Authorization” (RA)
    number to be used on shipping crates or boxes.
  • Customer will crate and ship, prepaid and insured, the failed component(s) with RA attached back to JetAir at their expense.
  • JetAir will evaluate the components for a root cause of failure and will provide a written report
    indicating reason(s) causing the failure with corrective action recommendations.
  • Failures due to workmanship and material defects are covered under warranty. JetAir will either
    replace or repair the defective component at its discretion.
  • Failures determined due to abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper maintenance, or repeat
    offenses are not covered.
  • Note that any failed unit that has been tampered with by attempting repair or diagnosis will void
    the warranty, unless prior written authorization has been provided by JetAir Technologies.


Filter Maintenance Schedule

Filtration is critical to performance, longevity, and enforcing the warranty on JetAir Industrial Blower Systems. The following are general guidelines for standard polyester canister filter replacements in various commercial environments. Request a JetAir sales engineer for specific guidelines for your application.

Beverage Soda and Juices Filter Change: 30 days
Beverage Beer Filter Change or Wash: 60 days
Industrial Oil Mist Filter Change: 60 days
Industrial Dust Filter Change or Wash: 90 days
Textile Fabric debris Filter Change or Wash: 120 days

Extended Warranty
At the time of sale JetAir offers a one-year extended warranty that provides for shipment within 24 hours of a new or reconditioned Blower or AC Drive. Return of the failed unit falls under the Claims Process guidelines outlined above.

Worldwide Support
JetAir Technologies understands that good service means being responsive. We know how crucial it is for our customers to have their equipment running efficiently at all times. JetAir Technologies’ customer support policy includes establishing engineering support centers, local to your area, that can respond and be on-site quickly to resolve your problem immediately and competently.

Motors for Hazardous Locations
JetAir Technologies will not be responsible for determining suitability or for developing or certifying specifications, design, or construction of a motor blower assembly for installation in hazardous or explosive atmospheres. It is the customer’s responsibility to certify and advise the proper NEMA motor enclosure requirements. Should the customer desire to use standard TEFC motors as a substitute for explosion-proof motors, the customer must certify the application to be in accordance with local, state, and/or federal codes relating to the use of motors in a hazardous location.

Terms and Conditions
JetAir Technologies shall not be liable for any other damages, whether direct or indirect, economic commercial, incidental or consequential, resulting from use of any JetAir product. Further, there are no expressed or implied warranties which extend beyond the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose to the equipment and / or its parts and components.

Any modification, alteration, adjustment, misuse, neglect, accidental damage, abuse or other adaptation shall immediately void this warranty. The blower shall be removed from service immediately and returned to JetAir’s Service Department for inspection and evaluation.

There are no warranties, express or implied by either distributor, manufacturers’ representative or manufacturer on new JetAir equipment except the manufacturer’s warranty against defects in material and workmanship set forth above. Further JetAir Technologies will not be responsible for determining suitability or for developing or certifying specifications, design, or construction of a motor blower assembly for installation in a hazardous, explosive location.

JetAir Technologies’ warranty covers repairs or replacement of blowers only, and will not cover labor for removal, installation, accessories or other items not considered an integral blower part. Product returned for failures determined to be caused by abuse, misuse, or repeat offense will be subject to an evaluation fee of $250. Maximum liability will in no case exceed the value of the product purchased. Shipping and freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser; JetAir Technologies will not accept shipments freight-collect, unless prior written authorization is provided by JetAir Technologies. Damage resulting from mishandling during shipment is not covered by JetAir Technologies’ warranty. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to file claims with their carrier.
